1. Privacy at a Glance

MenuMRR is designed to work without a MenuMRR user account or MenuMRR-operated backend server.

Your Mac connects directly to supported third-party services such as Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, and Apple App Store Connect.

MenuMRR does not operate an intermediary server through which your connected-provider revenue data or API credentials are routed.

There is no advertising, behavioural tracking, user profiling, or custom analytics service integrated into MenuMRR.

2. Connected Services

MenuMRR may connect directly from your Mac to services including:

  • Stripe;
  • Lemon Squeezy; and
  • Apple App Store Connect.

When you connect a provider, MenuMRR requests information necessary to calculate and display supported revenue metrics.

Depending on the provider, this may include:

  • subscription information;
  • subscription status;
  • pricing and currency information;
  • store information;
  • financial reports;
  • App Store purchase information;
  • revenue amounts; and
  • other information required to calculate the displayed metrics.

This information is retrieved directly between your Mac and the relevant provider.

It is not sent through a MenuMRR-operated server.

3. Stripe

MenuMRR may connect to Stripe using an API key supplied by you.

The application is designed to support a restricted read-only Stripe API key for its standard functionality.

MenuMRR may retrieve information about active subscriptions and subscription items in order to calculate MRR.

MenuMRR does not require permission to create, modify, cancel, or charge Stripe customers for its standard revenue-display functionality.

Your use of Stripe and the information held by Stripe remain subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy and terms.

4. Lemon Squeezy

If you connect Lemon Squeezy, MenuMRR may retrieve information necessary to determine active subscriptions and calculate recurring revenue across your connected stores.

Communication occurs directly between your Mac and Lemon Squeezy’s services.

Your use of Lemon Squeezy remains subject to Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy and contractual terms.

5. App Store Connect

MenuMRR may connect to Apple App Store Connect using Apple’s supported API authentication mechanisms, including signed JWT authentication.

The application may retrieve Apple reports or related information necessary to calculate supported subscription and purchase revenue.

Apple controls when financial reports become available and what information they contain.

Your use of App Store Connect remains subject to Apple’s applicable privacy policies and contractual terms.

6. API Credentials

Credentials used to connect supported providers may include API keys, identifiers, private authentication information, or similar access credentials.

MenuMRR is designed to store supported credentials locally in the macOS Keychain.

MenuMRR does not transmit these credentials to a MenuMRR-operated server.

Credentials may necessarily be transmitted from your Mac to the relevant provider when authenticating API requests.

You can revoke or replace credentials directly through the relevant provider.

7. Revenue Data

MenuMRR processes revenue and subscription information in order to calculate and display metrics such as:

  • monthly recurring revenue;
  • provider-specific recurring revenue;
  • month-over-month changes;
  • current-month revenue; and
  • related revenue breakdowns.

This information is processed on your Mac.

We do not receive your Stripe revenue, Lemon Squeezy revenue, App Store revenue, subscription information, or calculated MRR through MenuMRR.

8. Local Application Data

MenuMRR may store information locally that is necessary for application functionality, such as:

  • connected-provider configuration;
  • selected display currency;
  • application preferences;
  • cached revenue information;
  • refresh information; and
  • Launch at Login settings.

Such information remains on your Mac unless macOS or another service selected by you backs it up or synchronises it.

9. Automatic Refresh

MenuMRR may periodically contact connected providers to refresh displayed revenue information.

According to the current application functionality, automatic refreshes may occur approximately every 15 minutes while applicable application processes are running.

These requests are made directly from your Mac to the connected provider.

You may also manually request a refresh.

10. No MenuMRR Account or Server

MenuMRR does not require you to register a MenuMRR account.

We do not operate a MenuMRR backend that stores:

  • your provider API credentials;
  • your subscription data;
  • your revenue data;
  • your calculated MRR;
  • your App Store financial reports; or
  • your connected-provider account information.

11. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

MenuMRR does not contain:

  • advertising;
  • third-party advertising trackers;
  • behavioural tracking;
  • cross-app tracking;
  • marketing SDKs;
  • user profiling; or
  • custom analytics services.

We do not use your revenue or subscription information for advertising, profiling, marketing, or artificial-intelligence training.

12. Apple and the Mac App Store

MenuMRR is distributed through Apple’s Mac App Store.

Apple may independently process information relating to your App Store account, device, purchase, download, payment, diagnostics, or use of the App Store.

This processing is performed by Apple and is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

We generally do not receive your payment information from Apple.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated sales, download, performance, or diagnostic information.

13. Third-Party Processing

Although MenuMRR does not transmit your connected-provider data to us, the providers you choose to connect necessarily process information when their APIs are used.

For example, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, and Apple may receive:

  • API requests;
  • authentication information;
  • IP addresses;
  • device or network information; and
  • other technical information generated when accessing their services.

This processing is performed independently by the relevant provider and is governed by its privacy policy.

14. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process the information contained in your message, including your email address, in order to respond.

Depending on the nature of your request, processing may be based on:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where communication relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; or
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in providing support and responding to enquiries.

Support correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.

Please do not send API keys, private App Store Connect keys, passwords, or other sensitive credentials by email.

15. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

Because MenuMRR does not route your connected-provider data through our servers, we do not receive or share your API credentials, revenue data, or subscription information.

Personal data that you send directly to us, such as through support email, may be processed by service providers required to provide email or hosting services.

16. International Data Transfers

MenuMRR itself does not transmit your provider revenue data to a MenuMRR-operated server.

Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Apple, email providers, and other services you interact with may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Any such processing and international transfers are governed by the respective provider and applicable data-protection law.

17. Data Retention

Because we do not receive your connected-provider revenue data or credentials, we do not determine their retention period.

Locally stored MenuMRR data remains under your control on your Mac.

You may remove application data by disconnecting providers, deleting locally stored information where functionality is provided, revoking credentials with the relevant provider, or uninstalling MenuMRR.

Personal data received directly through support communications is retained only as long as necessary or legally required.

18. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal data held about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because we do not receive the provider credentials, revenue data, or subscription information processed locally by MenuMRR, we cannot access, correct, retrieve, or delete that information for you.

For personal data held directly by us, you can exercise your rights by contacting:

info@maxantonschneider.com

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

19. Security

MenuMRR is designed to minimise the amount of sensitive information transmitted to the application provider.

Supported credentials are stored using the macOS Keychain, and provider requests are made directly from your device.

You remain responsible for protecting:

  • access to your Mac;
  • your macOS user account;
  • provider API credentials;
  • App Store Connect keys;
  • Stripe and Lemon Squeezy accounts; and
  • backups of your device.

If you believe credentials have been exposed, revoke or rotate them through the relevant provider.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if MenuMRR, connected-provider functionality, technical operation, or applicable legal requirements change.

The current version will be made available through the application, App Store listing, or an associated website.
